Dr. Michael Levin
Lead Scientist & Co-Founder
Dr. Michael Levin is the Scientific Co-Founder at Astonishing Labs, he also serves as the Vannevar Bush Distinguished Professor in the Department of Biology at Tufts University, and additionally he serves as Associate Faculty at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University. Dr. Levin is also the Director of the Allen Discovery Center, and Director of the Tufts Center for Regenerative and Developmental Biology.
Dr. Levin has dual degrees in Biology and Computer Science and received his Ph.D. in Genetics from Harvard University,
Dr. Levin’s laboratory studies the computational decisions that biological systems make to establish a place in and adapt to their environment. Through his research, he has explored the inherent ability of biological systems to process information, and their capacity for plasticity at all levels – from the population to the organism to the organs, cells, and molecular pathways with them.

Adam Rothstein
General Partner of Disruptive Technology Partners
Adam Rothstein is a venture investor specializing in tech, media, entertainment and medtech. He is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Disruptive Technology Partners, an Israeli technology-focused, early-stage investment fund, along with Disruptive Growth, a collection of late-stage investment vehicles focused on Israeli technology, as well as the Disruptive Technologies Opportunity Fund.
Mr. Rothstein is also the Managing Member and Founder of two active venture vehicles: 1007 Mountain Drive Partners and 890 5th Avenue Partners. Currently, he holds board positions at Buzzfeed, Inc. (BZFD), Reservoir Media, Inc. (RSVR), Roth CH Acquisition V Co. (ROCL), Roth CH Acquisition Co., (USCTF), CoreMap Inc., Summit Series, LLC and is the majority owner of Spanish Football Team, Sabadell FC. His multitude of early investor and/or Director positions include Jackpocket, Inc., Iterative Health, VGW Holdings Ltd., IronSource Ltd. and Powder Mountain. With over 25 years of investment experience, he holds Board of Directors positions in several early and mid-stage technology and media companies both in the United States and in Israel, as well as, remaining an Advisory Board Member Emeritus of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. Mr. Rothstein graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and has a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Finance from the University of Cambridge.

Over the past 3 decades, he has held leadership positions in healthcare, the visual arts, and business. Currently, Mark serves
on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was Chair of the
Board from 2008-2010. In 2018, Mark was one of 12
directors to the new Cedars-Sinai Health System Board,
which is charged with governing the regional hospital
network that Cedars-Sinai is developing. From 2005 to
2017, Mark served on the Board of Trustees of The J.
Paul Getty Trust, where he served as Chair of its
Investment Committee and later Chair of the Board (2010-
2015).
